Boundaries: from the tip of Cone Point upstream to the ADFG regulatory marker two miles downstream of Waldron Creek

Communities: Galena, Ruby, Tanana, and Rampart

Until further notice: Gillnets are restricted to 4-inch mesh or smaller, 60-feet in length, and must be operated as a set net to target nonsalmon.

All gill net fishing closed effective Sunday, August 3 at 12pm

Gill net fishing with 4-inch or smaller mesh and manned fish wheel for nonsalmon reopens Thursday, August 7 at noon 

Weekly gill net and manned fish wheel opening schedule:

Thursdays at noon - Sundays at noon until further notice

Special notes: A subsistence permit is required to fish for all species in Subdistrict 5-C from the western-most tip of Garnet Island upstream to the ADF&G regulatory marker two miles downstream of Waldron Creek (Dalton Highway bridge area). If you are outside the permit area, contact the Fairbanks office at 907-459-7274 for a subsistence harvest calendar.
